I work on Embedded Software at Qrypt.
Previously at Ezurio , where I:
- Supported SoM and SBC products:
- Embedded Linux.
- Devicetrees.
- Lots of customer facetime.
And before that at Neosem , where I:
- Designed software for SSD memory testers, including:
- Custom embedded Linux kernels and filesystems for embedded processors on custom boards.
- Proof of concept SSD memory testers for customer evaluation.
- WinForms GUIs for C#-based tester GUIs.
And before that at Merlin Test Technologies, where I:
- Designed custom high speed digital instrumentation, including firmware.
- Designed and maintained a high-volume RF test software suite, built using C#/C++/C/MATLAB.
- Troubleshot and optimized code (and sometimes the hardware it runs on as well).
- Constantly pushed for better DevOps: integrating Code Reviews, Issue/PR templates, development VMs, and linting tools to our process.
- Worked with our applications team to improve customer-facing software, including one tool for which I am solely responsible.
- Managed my work schedule across multiple projects, with team members in multiple timezones.
