ERIC GRAVES
work ∶ play
I get paid to make things at Neosem , where I:
- Design software for SSD memory testers, including:
- Custom embedded Linux kernels and filesystems for embedded processors on custom boards.
- Proof of concept SSD memory testers for customer evaluation.
- WinForms GUIs for C#-based tester GUIs.
Previously at Merlin Test Technologies, where I:
- Design custom high speed digital instrumentation, including firmware.
- Design and maintain a high-volume RF test software suite, built using C#/C++/C/MATLAB.
- Troubleshoot and optimize code (and sometimes the hardware it runs on as well).
- Constantly push for better DevOps: integrating Code Reviews, Issue/PR templates, development VMs, and linting tools to our process.
- Work with our applications team to improve customer-facing software, including one tool for which I am solely responsible.
- Manage my work schedule across multiple projects, with team members in multiple timezones.
